The Rusty Datsuns – Riverbank

Riding a wave of success since the release of 2011’s EP ‘Let It Rain’ with festival appearances all over the country (Woodford Folk Festival, Island Vibe, Wintermoon, Maleny Music Weekend, Home Festival), The Rusty Datsuns are proud to announce the release and accompanying national launch dates for their long awaited debut full-length album ‘Riverbank’.

A love of music, wine, and life on the river provide the backdrop to an album that serenades with svelte sounds, delicate songwriting and wistful, soaring harmonies. With the Rusty’s (Sian, Al and Fern) joined by Rob Davidson (double bass), Laura Driver (cello) and Steve Wallis (Harmonica), the resulting album, recorded at Incremental Studios is a distinctively Australian ode to bluegrass, folk and toe tappers everywhere.
From the innocent pining of ‘Honey Bee’, to the disillusionment of ‘Don’t Wait’ and the hearty resolve of lead single ‘Riverbank’ – it’s an album full of infectious riffs, down home ditties and sun drenched strings.
